Arsenal hosts Burnley

Arsenal hosts Burnley at the Emirates in a fixture from the 12th round of the Premier League. Stay with us because we are going to take a look on this game.

This season of the Premier League is turning into a nightmare for Arsenal. The Gunners are 15th in the league with 13 points and this is a disastrious performance so far. Mikel Arteta’s team won just one point in its last four matches and Arsenal have more losses than wins since the beginning of the campaign.

Last season Arteta won the FA Cup with the club, but now there’s some serious pressure on the young manager’s shoulders. The club is doing really well in Europa League and qualified for the knockout phase, but Arsenal’s performances in the Premier League could cost the Spanish head coach his job. Arteta is aware that club of this stature can’t be 15th in the standings.

Last week Arsenal faced Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League derby of Northern London, but made another poor performance and suffered a 0-2 loss. It was the team’s sixth loss for the season.

Burnley approach this game from 18th place in the standings. At this moment Sean Dyche’s team have just 6 points won and clearly Burnley are struggling. They need some positive results in order to climb in the table.

In their last game Burnley won a point at least. Dyche’s boys hosted Everton at the Turf Moor and the match ended 1-1. Robert Brady scored an early opener for Burnley, but Calvert-Lewin equalised for the Toffees.

That’s our preview for the Premier League fixture between Arsenal and Burnley at the Emirates. For the Gunners it’s really important to record a win here as they are without one in the last four rounds. The home side is under some serious pressure at the moment.
