Burnley faces Watford
Burnley faces Watford in a game from the 2nd round of the English Premier League. Let’s have a look at this clash at the Turf Moor Stadium on Sunday. Burnley did a terrific job last season, finishing 7th in the Premier League. Nobody really expected that Sean Dyche’s team is going to perform so good after winning a promotion to the elite division. Now Burnley began their season with a draw, after a 0-0 against Southampton at the St. Mary’s Stadium. It was not the perfect result, but winning a point away from home is always good. It’d be interesting to see if Burnley can repeat their performance from the last season. For such a small club, it’s going to be tough to make two consecutive seasons like this. But for sure, Sean Dyche is a manager who knows how to build a team. Let’s see what his work will lead to this time. Watford started the new campaign in a flying way, beating Brighton & Hove Albion with 2-0 at home. The Argentine midfielder Roberto Pereyra scored both goals for Watford, proving to be an influential member of Javi Gracia’s team. For Watford, the goal is just one at the moment – once again keeping their place in the Premier League. Their potential would hardly lead them to something more, but this would be enough for sure. Burnley’s Steven Defour and Nick Pope are missing the match because of injuries, while Matej Vydra and Anders Lindegaard are doubtful. Meanwhile, Watford’s Ben Wilmot, Younes Kaboul and Tom Cleverley are not available for selection for the manager Javi Gracia. In the same time, Stefano Okaka Chuka and Gerard Deulofeu are doubtful. Burnley is a favourite against Watford at Sunday, seeking their first win for the new season at the Premier League. But can Watford surprise them? We shall see.
